TWO FINE IVORY CARVED OKIMONO OF MONKEY Japan, 19th century Ivory. L. ca. 6.5 cm. Including an okimono carved as a running monkey with its mouth open, and another okimono carved with two monkeys and two rats on leaves. Next to them is a small basket filled with fruit. With traces of age and use. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country.
