Description
A PAIR OF PORCELAIN TAZZAS FROM THE KREMLIN SERVICE Russian, St. Petersburg, Imperial Porcelain Factory, Period of Alexander II, 1855-1881 Painted, gilded, decorated with a black imperial double-headed eagle in the middle. Underglaze green factory mark 'AII' under the crown, red inventory numbers 'oxp. 23099' or 'oxp. 23071'. The ceremonial service, created for 50 people and comprising nearly 1,500 pieces, was designed by F. G. Solntsev for the Grand Kremlin Palace. 19/20 cm high.
