TWO PORCELAIN BOWLS FROM THE SERVICE OF GRAND DUKE KONSTANTIN NIKOLAEVICH Russian, St. Petersburg, a.o. Kornilov Porcelain Factory, 1848-1852 Ornamentally painted, partially gilded. Partially with a factory mark and number '37.' in gold. Decorated with the Grand Duke's monogram in Cyrillic 'WKKN' and with the imperial double-headed eagle. The ceremonial service was designed by F.G. Solntsev for the wedding of the Grand Duke and the Princess of Saxe-Altenburg, the future Grand Duchess Alexandra Iosifovna. Diam. 23.6/24.4 cm.
