A SET OF FIVE SMALL PLATES FROM THE SERVICE OF GRAND DUKE KONSTANTIN NIKOLAEVICH Russian, St. Petersburg, Imperial Porcelain Factory, 1848-1852 Ornamentally painted, gilded rims. The ceremonial service was designed by F.G. Solntsev for the wedding of the Grand Duke and the Princess of Saxe-Altenburg, the future Grand Duchess Alexandra Iosifovna. Partially slightly chipped, paint partially slightly rubbed. Diam. 8.8-18.1 cm.
