VIOLIN BY 'MATTHIAS NEUNER' AND TWO VIOLIN BOWS* Probably Mittenwald, 19th century. Two-piece spruce top and maple back, light brown varnish, with case. 4/4 violin, length 59 cm, body length 36 cm. Violin label: 'Mathias Neuner violin maker in Mittenwald 1801 No. 94'. Two violin bows, German, early 20th century, round and octagonal stick, simple and Parisian eye, winding, thumb leather, 1x bone and 1x ivory head palte, partially bumped. Violin partially bumped and cracks in the top, top, back, and sides, rest. Expertise: Restoration by Hans-Josef Thomas, Aachen, 2025. Provenance: Private collection Aachen.
