VIOLIN LABELLED 'EUGEN GÄRTNER' Stuttgart, probably circa 1930. Two-piece spruce top and maple back, brown varnish. Full-size (4/4) violin, length 58.9 cm, body length 35.5 cm. Labelled "Eugen Gärtner, Atelier für Kunstgeigenbau, Hoflieferant, fecit Stuttgart". Minimally bumped, restored. Provenance: Private collection, southern Germany.
