VIOLIN BY 'MICHAEL IGNAZ STADLMANN' German, early 20th century Two-piece spruce top and maple back, red-brown shaded varnish. 4/4 violin, length 55 cm, body length 36 cm. Violin label: 'Michael Ignatius Stadlmann Kayserl. Königl. Hof Lauten und Geigenmacher in Wien 1782'. Partially repaired and restored, varnish flaking on the back.
