Herclik Houslar Mlada Boleslav 1944' and brand stamp 'J.B. Herclik'. Violin by the Bohemian violin maker Josef Bohumil Herclik, dated 1944. The term 'houslar' refers to the regional craft tradition of Bohemia, known since the 19th century for its high-quality stringed instruments.
