VIOLIN, STAINER MODEL 'C. A. WUNDERLICH' Vogtland, 1874. One-piece spruce top and maple back, dark brown varnish. Full-size (4/4) violin, length 59 cm, body length 36.1 cm. Labelled "Alleiniger Lieferant C. A. Wunderlich Siebenbrunn (Vogtl.)", with verso brand stamp of a cross and "1874". Partially bumped and damaged, varnish with craquelure and losses. **Provenance:** Private collection, Hesse.
