ARTUR IMANUEL LÖWENTAL 1879 Vienna - 1964 Berlin FEMALE NUDITY WITH BOWL 1910 Bronze, dark and gilded patina, on naturalistic plinth. Total height 37 cm, width 25 cm, depth 18 cm, weight approx. 3 kg. Marked 'A. Löwental' on the side of the plinth and dated '1910', numbered '250' on the reverse. Elegant depiction of a female nude with a drinking bowl, standing in a calm and graceful movement, in the ideal form of Art Nouveau. Partial loss of patina, repaired and restored.
