LEONHARD KERN (1588-1662) 1588 Forchtenberg - 1662 Schwäbisch Hall (probably) STANDING ABUNDANTIA / FLORA WITH CORNUCOPIA* Probably southern Germany, 17th century Ivory, fully sculpted. H. 19, W 6, D 5.5 cm, weight approx. 0.21 g. Stamp with eagle on the reverse. Depiction of Flora, goddess of flowers and spring, leaning on a richly filled cornucopia overflowing with flowers and fruit. Partially repaired and restored. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country.
