SIMON TROGER 1693 - 1769 (or circle) STANDING WOMAN* Austria or Germany, 18th century Boxwood, sculpted and stained, face and hands carved from ivory, on a small wooden base (H. 5 cm). Total height 22, W 8, D 6.5 cm, weight approx. 0.25 g. Stamp on the back 'Zollamt Wien 10' (Vienna Customs Office). Partially repaired and restored. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England. This item is not legal to sell in the UK.
