Description
TWO RARE IVORY CAVED NETSUKE Japan, 19th century Ivory. L. 3.5-4.1 cm. Including one netsuke depicting three boys playing around a screen - one side of the screen is painted with a landscape, the other with a dragon. Another netsuke is carved in the shape of a whistle. Both are signed 'Tomochika'. With traces of age and use. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England. This item is not legal to sell in the UK.
