EIN GESCHNITZTES NETSUKE EINES SAMURAI AUS ELFENBEIN

AN IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF A SAMURAI Japan, 19th/20th century Ivory. H. 6.5 cm. The netsuke is carved as a samurai wearing an O-yoroi armor, signed 'Munemitsu' on the back of his right thigh. With traces of age and use, partially cracked, with one inlay missing from the armor. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England. This item is not legal to sell in the UK.
