WILLI SCHMIDT-PETIT 1881 Berlin - 1958 ibid SITTING BOY (SON) Plaster, fully modeled, colored, on a pedestal. H. 40, W. 36, D. 27 cm. Resting nude depiction of a boy (the artist's son) sitting on the floor with his head bowed, his posture calm and introverted. The finely tuned modeling was based on photographic studies from multiple angles. Partially preserved and damaged, restoration on the arm.
