WILLI SCHMIDT-PETIT 1881 Berlin - 1958 ibid. 'GIRL WITH APPLE' (DAUGHTER) Wood, fully sculpted, waxed. H. 62, W. 37, D. 35 cm. Monogrammed 'WSP' on the side, label '2000M' on the reverse. Half-length portrait of a seated girl (the artist's daughter) with a calm expression and an intimate pose, holding an apple in both hands. Partially repaired and minor stress crack.
