ANTONIO CANOVA 1757 Passagno - 1822 Venice (successor of the 19th/20th century) LARGE BUST OF PERSEUS Probably Italy, 19th century Marble, on a round pedestal. H. 72, W. 45, D. 45 cm. After the original 'Perseus with the Head of Medusa' in the Museo Pio-Clementino in Rome. Partially damaged and bumped, chipped on the nose, pedestal chipped.
