Description
A GLASS BEAKER Russian, St. Petersburg, Imperial Glass Factory, circa 1820 Colourless glass, the body cut with a very fine diamond pattern relieved by an alternating series of lozenges and circles above a repeating pattern of leaves. Below the gilt rim a medallion showing an farmhouse flanked by a frieze of foliage. Engraved initials 'AN' in Cyrillic. 8.7 cm high.
