TWO BANJOS (TENOR BANJO AND MANDOLIN BANJO) Germany or the U.S., first half of the 20th century Each has a wooden neck with a fingerboard, a round resonator covered with skin, and a tension ring. Lengths: 77 and 60 cm. Consists of a four-string tenor banjo and an eight-string mandolin banjo with four double-strung courses. Partially restored and repainted; one banjo head has a tear; metal fittings are partially oxidized. Provenance: Private collection, Hesse.
