BAROQUE CUSHION CABINET Northern Germany/Netherlands, probably 1730 Solid oak, walnut veneer. H. 198, W. 174, D. 68 cm. Marked 'd7 CH 30' and 'd 1A 83' on the frieze. Impressive tall rectangular two-door cabinet, double-tiered at the bottom on pressed ball feet. Multiple profiled cornice, frieze with carved ornaments. The front is divided by three fluted twisted half-columns with shell cartouches on striking pedestals. The doors have four cushion panels. Partially preserved and bumped, woodworm infestation.
