EINE FAMILLE-ROSE-VASE MIT DARSTELLUNG VON 'SAN NIANG JIAO ZI'

A FAMILLE ROSE 'SAN NIANG JIAO ZI' VASE China, late Qing dynasty to Republic period Porcelain. H. 49.5 cm. The vase is decorated on one side with a scene of 'San Niang Jiao Zi', the reverse with a landscape, inscription and signed 'Wang Peizhang'. The base bears a 'Tongzhi nianzhi' mark. With traces of age and use, partially abraded, and the neck cut down (possibly for use as a lamp). Provenance: From a private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
