Description
A. ERMLER Active in Vienna around 1900 DANCER* Vienna, c. 1910 Chryselephantine; bronze with gold patina, face and body carved from ivory; set on an oval plinth and an octagonal base (H. 2.5 cm). Total H. 21, W. 7, D. 10 cm; weight approx. 0.93 kg. Inscribed 'A. Ermler' on the plinth. Fully modeled figure of a young dancer wearing armbands and a headband, depicted in dynamic motion. Part. bumped and rubbed, loss of paint. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory in your country.
