VICTOR HEINRICH SEIFERT 1870 Vienna - 1953 Berlin SCHOOLGIRL ('BOOKWORM') Bronze, dark patina, on square plinth and cube-shaped marble base (H. 10 cm). Total H. 42.5, W. 12, D. 11.5 cm, weight approx. 16.87 kg. Signed 'Prof. V. H. Seifert' on the back of the plinth. Fully sculpted representation of a girl with downcast eyes carrying several books. Bumped, rubbed and partial loss of patina.
