EMILE-LOUIS PICAULT 1833-1915 (after) MONUMENTAL OTTOMAN WARRIOR Bronze with brown patina, on a tall base. Total height 154 cm, width 50 cm, depth 57 cm. Unsigned; cast after the original by Picault. A fully modeled figure of an Ottoman warrior in Oriental attire, standing in a confident, upright posture. Finely detailed rendering of clothing and weaponry. Patina shows areas of rubbing and signs of wear consistent with age.
