Picault' on the back of the plinth, with the foundry mark 'F. P. Sanson Succ Neuer Wall 4, Hamburg'. Fully modeled figure of a sommelier (wine waiter) in period-style attire and an apron, holding a glass. Minor rubbing and loss of patina.
