Description
TWO IVORY CARVED OKIMONO NETSUKE Japan, 19th century Ivory. H. ca. 3.8-5 cm, L. ca. 3.1-9.5 cm. Including a netsuke depicting the scene of Nitta no Shiro slaying a wild boar, signed on the bottom, and another netsuke carved as a man lying on his side, with an oni by his side, both holding an open scroll together. With traces of age and use, partially cracked. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England.
