A RAKU CHAWAN (TEA BOWL) Japan, 19th century Stoneware. H. 6 cm. Accompanied by a wooden tomobako storage box and shifuku, the underside bearing a Raku mark. With traces of use and age. Provenance: Acquired in 2005 from Erik Thomsen (Bensheim). A copy of the original invoice is available.
