Description
A FAMILLE ROSE 'WU SHUANG PU' BOWL China, Qing Dynasty Porcelain. H. 8.5 cm. The hexagonal bowl is decorated on the exterior with various figures from the Wu Shuang Pu (Table of Peerless Heroes), each figure is accompanied by an inscription identifying the character. The interior is covered with turquoise enamel, with an iron-red six-character mark "Da Qing Tongzhi Nianzhi". With traces of age and use, partially abraded, and with an area of chip to the rim at the foot.
