EINE BLAU-WEISSE 'XIXIANG JI'-SCHALE

A BLUE AND WHITE 'XIXIANG JI' BOWL China, probably Qing Dynasty Porcelain. H. 7.8 cm. The exterior of the bowl is decorated with a scene from "Xi Xiang Ji", the interior with children, and the base bears a "Da Ming Wanli Nian Zhi" mark. With traces of age and use, slightly chipped on the rim and restored.
