EIN BLAU-WEISSES GEFRÄß MIT "SHOU"-ZEICHEN

A BLUE AND WHITE 'SHOU'-CHARACTER JAR China, Qing Dynasty Porcelain. H. 17 cm. The jar is decorated all over with densely arranged shou (longevity) characters in underglaze blue. An old label reading "Palace Museum, Beijing" is affixed to the base. With traces of age and use, minor chips to the rim and a small chip to the body. Provenance: From a German private collection.
