A WOOD MINIATURE OKIMONO NETSUKE OF A BUNBUKU CHAGAMA Japan, 19th century Wood. H. 3.1 cm. The squat globular vessel turning into a takuni, the bowl of the kettle already bearing a head, legs and tail, the eye pupils are inlaid. Signed 'Masanao' on the bottom of the tail of the takuni. With traces of age and use, partially abraded.
