AN IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF A RESTING ACTOR Japan, 19th century Ivory. H. 3 cm. The netsuke is carved as a seated, resting actor holding a bowl, after having pushed his mask to the side. Signed 'Masatsugu' on the bottom. With traces of age and use. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community.
