AN IVORY NETSUKE OF A HOTEI Japan, 19th century Ivory. L. 4.5 cm. The netsuke is finely carved depicting Hotei lying down face down on his uchiwa (fan). With traces of age and use, partially cracked. CITES marketing certificate is available.Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community.
