A WOOD CARVED NETSUKE OF A DRUMMING SHISHI Japan, 18th/19th century Wood/bone. H. 2.5 cm. The ivory is carved as a clothed shishi seated while playing a drum. Signed 'Miwa' on the bottom. With traces of age and use.
