EMPIRE-STYLE FIREPLACE CLOCK ENSEMBLE France, circa 1810/20 Bronze, partly gilt, metal, steel. Clock 52.5 x 26 x 17 cm, candlesticks 49 x 14 x 14 cm. Inscribed on the dial 'Diot à Paris'. Three-piece set; clock with rich, gilt relief decoration depicting an antique scene, metal dial with Roman numerals and Breguet hands. Also includes a pair of stylistically similar, single-flame candlesticks. Partially chipped; function untested; with pendulum, without key.
