FIREPLACE CLOCK WITH GIRANDOLS France, Paris, Samuel Marti & Cie, circa 1890 Bronze, gilt, marble, enamel, glass, steel. Clock 45 x 22 x 15 cm, candlestick 41.5 x 12.5 x 12.5 cm. Movement marked 'S. Marti Medaille de Bronze'. Three-piece set; rich floral and fully sculpted putti decoration. Dial with Roman numerals and ornamental hands behind a glazed door. Candlestick with six lights. Partially damaged; function untested; with key, pendulum damaged.
