GEORGIAN BRACKET CLOCK WITH CHINOISERIES England, London, Thomas Mudge (1715-1794), circa 1750/60 Wood, lacquered, glass, metal, steel. 44 x 28 x 19.5 cm. Inscribed on a plaque 'Tho.s Mudge London'. Four-sided glazed case with pediment and carrying handle. Floral and figural chinoiserie decoration. Ornamented metal dial and chapter ring with black Roman and Arabic numerals and ornamental hands; day indicator. Partially damaged and broken, glass cracked; function untested; with key.
