EMPIRE PENDULUM 'SCIENCE' France, circa 1810/20 Bronze, metal, gilt, steel. 46 x 33 x 13 cm. Rectangular base on four feet with a relief scene. Clockwork flanked by a fully sculpted female figure and attributes of science. Metal dial with Roman numerals and Breguet hands. Partially damaged, with wear and chips; function untested; with pendulum, without key.
