WALL BRACKET WITH WINGED PUTTO HEAD South German, 17th century Wood, carved in high relief, polychrome-painted and gilded. H. 35, W. 29.5, D. 21 cm. Architecturally structured wall bracket featuring a prominent angel or putto head with feathered wings and a cluster of grapes with foliage hanging beneath. Condition: scattered minor damage and wear; traces of past woodworm infestation; losses to the paintwork; losses to the putto's nose and face.
