LARGE FLOATING PUTTO WITH CONSOLE Germany or Austria, c. 1720 Limewood, carved in the round, polychrome-painted and gilded, on a console table. Total height 139 cm, width 50 cm, depth 48 cm. Attributed to Johann Peter Wagner (1730-1809). Gilded console table featuring decorative Rococo elements around the sides. Minor nicks and damage; restored; some loss of paint/gilding.
