LATE GOTHIC CORPUS CHRISTI Likely Austria, c. 1500 Softwood, carved in the round, gessoed, traces of an old polychromy, partially gilded. H. 88, W. 86, D. 12 cm. Sculptural depiction of the dying Christ, with inclined head and crown of thorns. Minor chips, significant loss of polychromy, damaged.
