PAIR OF LARGE FLOATING WINGED PUTTOS German, second half of the 18th century Wood, sculpted, primed. H. 79/80, W. 65/68, D. 38/40 cm. Large carved pair of Baroque altar cherubs with childlike, lively faces, wings spread wide, in a dynamic floating position and graceful movement. Partially damaged and repaired, rest with woodworm infestation.
