CORPUS CHRISTI South German, 18th century Wood, carved in the round, gessoed and polychromed; mounted on a red velvet panel (16.5 x 37 cm). Figure height 29 cm, width 7 cm. Fragmentary figure of Christ with head inclined and crowned with thorns, and an elongated body; showing some damage and abrasions, both arms missing, minor woodworm damage.
