GROUP OF FIVE SACRED FIGURES German, 18th/19th century Wood, carved in the round; heights 34/31/29/25/17 cm. Relief of Saint Francis of Assisi - inscribed on the back "Hl. Franziskus" (St. Francis) and bearing the "Sammlung Heinz Weck" (Heinz Weck Collection) label. Crucifix - carved and polychromed Corpus Christi (three-nail type) on a dark-stained wooden cross. Two Passion crosses - openwork design featuring heart motifs, carved depictions of the Corpus Christi, and other Passion-related imagery, including God the Father and the Virgin Mary.
