A LARGE TROMPE L'OEIL SILVER-MOUNTED CUT-GLASS CENTERPIECE Russian, St. Petersburg, Sergei Kuzmich Alexandrov, 1896-1908 The handles and feet of the mount cast and chased as twisting olive branches, with bunches of olives and leaves holding the oval, cut glass bowl cut with a pattern of leaves and stars centered with a sunburst. Marked with assayer's mark and master's mark 'S.A' in Cyrillic. 43 cm long.
