A SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE Russian, Moscow, Pavel Ovchinnikov, late 19th century Of rectangular form with rounded corners. Decorated all over with geometric strapwork, stylised flowers and foliage in red, white and blue on a stippled ground. Gilt interior. Marked with city hallmark, 88 standard and master's mark 'P OVCHINNIKOV' in Cyrillic with Imperial warrant. 9 cm long, 112 gr.
