A SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL KOVSH Russian, Moscow, Pavel Ovchinnikov, late 19th century Of traditional form, with raised prow and stepped hook handle, enamelled with stylised scrolling foliage on stippled ground, with blue bead borders. Marked with city hallmark, 84 standard and 'OVCHINNIKOV' in Cyrillic with Imperial warrant, overstriking the Cyrillic initials 'AO'. Enamel minimally chipped. 10.3 cm long, 76 gr.
