A SILVER-GILT BEAKER WITH COVER WITH DOUBLE-HEADED EAGLE FINIAL Russian, Moscow, circa 1748 Of tapering cylindrical shape on circular foot, the body chased and embossed with foliate scrolls and sprays of flowers, the associated domed cover decorated with a strapwork and foliate design. Marked with city hallmark and master's mark 'GG'. Cracks to the rim of foot and cover. 22 cm high, 290 gr.
