A PORCELAIN PLATE FROM THE SERVICE OF GRAND DUKE KONSTANTIN NIKOLAEVICH Russian, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, period of Nicholas I (1825-1855), 1848-1852 Centred with stylised gilt flowerheads, the borders with emerald green, gilt, brick and black strapwork ornament relieved by medallions with the Imperial double-headed eagle and the Grand Duke's cypher. Marked under base with blue Imperial cypher 'NI' beneath crown and numbered '66.' in gold. Minimally worn. Diam. 24 cm.
