A FINE AND RARE ICON 'PATERNITY' (FATHERHOOD) Russian, 17th century Tempera on wood panel with double kovcheg. The haloes made of silver, covered by a golden lacquer. A female saint and the Finding St. John the Forerunner' head appearing on the right border. Restored. 31 x 26.8 cm.
